ChemoPower plans to set up a fully equipped Traditional Medicines analysis laboratory in Singapore with a budget of S$2 million.
This lab will focus on using various GC-MS and LC-MS instruments to process various traditional medicines, and will be using ChemoPower’s proprietary technology to obtain a comprehensive list of compound information for each traditional medicine sample. A dedicated team of researchers will be working on automating the analysis procedures and analyse the data obtained.
With the setup of this laboratory, ChemoPower will be taking another critical step towards our Vision, which is to build an internationally recognized databank for the chemical information of all the Traditional Medicines, independent on any third party’s information. This databank will serve as the foundation for setting up a reliable QA/QC standards for traditional medicines as well as significantly enhance the research in this industry.
